RLP Centre for physiotherapy organises free physical fitness camp on Teachers Day eve | KNO

RLP Center for physiotherapy and rehabilitation by Dr Taizeena khan B.pt(India), PGDMS (UK), MBA (USA) MIAP, Fellowship diploma in pediatric rehabilitation (UK), Fellowship diploma in geriatric rehabilitation (UK) in collaboration with NSS units Of S P College organized one day free health/physical fitness camp on 5 th sept 2018 to celebrate the unparalleled contribution of teachers in our lives.

On Teachers day Physiotherapists from RLP centre for physiotherapy and rehabilitation assessed and demonstrated various exercises to both staff and students of SP college . Physiotherapists also guided them about how they can prevent Various musculoskeletal disorders or work related problems.The common musculoskeletal conditions that were assessed by physiotherapist during this camp were disc prolapse, arthritis, shoulder peri arthritis,low back pain,neck pain and some post natal conditions .

Dr Taizeena who is the chief physiotherapist at RLP and has worked in countries like UK ,USA emphasised that physiotherapy is most important treatment for Various musculoskeletal disorders but unfortunately awareness about this field lacks in the valley.In order to bring awareness about physical fitness and physiotherapy Dr Taizeena has initiated a health and fitness program for people of all age groups becoming physically fit requires a life style modification one has to incorporate regular exercise in daily life and also eat healthier.People who are physically fit are not prone to cardiac and other health problems.According to Dr Taizeena our society needs to bring changes in their life style and eating habits.

Rlp center for physiotherapy and rehabilitation is located at #261 sanat Nagar by pass bridge road mosque,near aafandi bagh , opposite green belt park. Chief physiotherapist:Dr Taizeena khan Senior physiotherapist:Dr Tabassum Zia (MPT sports and orthopedic) Manual therapist and Dry Needling practitioner.
